A few posts ago I had pictures of the Cripple River mining camp. These pictures are of the tundra as you go past the camp.
There has been a little rain on the trail.

Their season is almost over as well. If you are interested in taking up offshore gold mining, now is a great time to buy a gold dredge. Many of the dredges are for sale, and most of the miners will be leaving for the winter.

There is still some green on the tundra, but it is going fast.
It is still that the water is so clear.
I mean it is really clear.
The sky was really clear as well.
The reds and yellows are starting to show up on the tundra.
The man and woman who started the Cripple River camp were buried out here.
Where you see red, there are likely blueberries.
Honest, wild bluberries.
They really do taste great! Much smaller than the ones you buy at the grocery store.
