Beauty IS on the outside! (at least more beauty outside of Nome, than in the city limits)

I do not think the village of Nome will ever be on a list of "the most beautiful villages".  It is a nice little village, but is more functional, than fashionable.   Sometimes it is a wonder why people live here.  That wonder is erased, when I actually got out of the village.  The following pictures are from a trip up Kougarok Road.  We were able to make it to Salmon Lake, about half the distance of the road.
